For many years, Malawi remained one of central Africa's best-kept secrets, but more and more ecotourists and birders are realizing the potential of this tiny landlocked country with its friendly people. Often referred to as the warm heart of Africa, and deservedly so, smiling faces await you as you step off your plane.
With nearly 700 bird species, many of them near-endemics that are really tough to find elsewhere, it's difficult to not fall in love with Malawi. Magical landscapes, top game reserves, swatches of Miombo woodland and montane evergreen forests, the Rift Valley lake and Lake Malawi with its nearly tropical beaches - all of this and more awaits you.
Birding here is easy with no strenuous hikes and mostly level terrain. Travel within the country is also easy on paved roads between major cities. Malawi is a country with good infrastructure and unlimited potential, not just for birders but for anyone who wants to visit a part of Africa that is not swamped with tourists.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellation must be made in writing (email or snail mail)
More than 6 months prior to departure – full refund of deposit
Between 4 and 6 months prior to departure – 50% refund of deposit
Less than 4 months prior to departure – No refund of deposit
If cancellation occurs after full payment is made, a refund will be given only if the vacant spot is filled.
Trip insurance is recommended.
